I’ve been swing dancing in Orlando Florida since May of 1998, and I’ve enjoyed myself greatly over the years. I love all the variety of music you can dance to, the subtle, and drastically different nuances of the dance & the dancers in the scene. I love the willingness to help one another on and off the dance floor. The connections that are made are awesome.

Without swing dancing, I would have missed out on many amazing things. I would have missed out on great friends, a second family, extra traveling, teaching, dj’ing and not to mention most of all, I would have missed meeting my beautiful Finance. The swing dancing scene in Orlando has given me so much, and I hope that it feels the same way about me. When I started this website on Jan 20th 2004 it was to try and help the dancers stay connected on and off the dance floor. They could check the Calendar and see what was going on. You could join the Swinger outings, and meet other dancers or come to Swing Pins, or Swing in the Park and have fun while we grilled and danced. I’m not sure what this website will become in the future, but Thank you to everyone I’ve met, and that has influenced me over the years. You are all awesome! Steve Stone: Orlando Swing Dancer
