About

I was born in Orlando, Florida but grew up in Las Vegas,DCNevada. I’ve been back in Florida since 1995 and have been swing dancing since 1997. I’ve started teaching swing dancing in 2000.

I’ve been putting on my own dance events in the central Florida area since 2004 some of which include: Swinger Outings, Swing Pins, Swing in the Park, Dancin’ in the Dark, Late night Blues remix dances, as well as dance workshops and series in Lindy Hop, Blues and Fusion dancing.

The Blues n Soul Experience in June of 2008 was my first Dance Exchange that I created & ran. In March of 2009, we had the Orlando Lindy Exchange, ORLX 2, in which I was a part of the committee through ODE – the Orlando Dance Enthusiasts. In June of 2009, I held the 2nd Blues n Soul. Then Orlx 3, 4 and 5 as well as blues n soul 3. I have also brought in World Champion Swing Dancer, Yuval Hod, to teach his two day Dance workshops with great review. As well as Brenda Russell, Chris Ransdell which separately taught blues dance workshops.

My Goal is to help the dance scene in Orlando, Florida and beyond prosper and grow. If you’d like to be a part of our scene, feel free to contact me or join us at one of our many dances. Until then, have fun and I’ll See you on the Dance Floor!

I have also choreographed Dance routines for both the UCF Swing Knights, and the Rollin’s Swing Club. A part of the “Orlando City Dippers” Dance troop since 2007. Performing and competing at the “Harvest Moon Melee”

Competitions won: I’ve won multiple 1st & 2nd place swing dance competitions at “Rat Pack’s on the Ave” and “Atlantic Dance” at the Disney Boardwalk. As well as Jack and Jill competitions at The Whirl & Twirl & UCF in Orlando for best Lead as well as best Lead at the Oyster Bay competition.

However wonderful a competition can be, the social aspect of dancing is what has kept me interested for these oh so many years. Great people, always make for a great time on the dance floor. That’s the best reward I’ve received over the years.
